By putting 63 local and international projects into action in 2024, Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) strengthened its social and humanitarian pledges, helping 29.224 million people.
In addition to providing quick humanitarian and relief assistance in times of crisis abroad, these programs supported orphans, impoverished families, and individuals with tenacity within the United Arab Emirates.
According to Abdullah Al Ali, CEO of RTA’s Corporate Administrative Support Services Sector, “RTA is committed to using corporate social responsibility to promote social cohesion and preserve humanitarian principles. We work to assist individuals in need by partnering with other organisations and entities, which is in line with the UAE leadership’s goal of encouraging collaboration and sustainable generosity.
Al Ali reiterated RTA’s dedication to its core business and humanitarian principles, putting them into practice by President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s declaration that 2025 would be the “Year of the Community” with the theme “Hand in Hand.” The goal of this project is to promote a prosperous and united society.
In commemoration of mothers, RTA took part in the “Mother’s Endowment” campaign, which was started by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai. About 29 million people benefited from the program, which demonstrated RTA’s dedication to humanitarian aid and social responsibility.
